James Kimble, an associate professor in the Department of Communication and the Arts at Seton Hall University and an author of numerous books, discusses superheroes, comic books and WWII on Thursday, Jan. 12 at the Kearney Public Library.

Kimble’s program will be noon-1 p.m. Jan. 12. The talk is sponsored by Humanities Nebraska.

“I’ll talk about comic books and their propaganda value and how they might have influenced Americans — and not just kids but adults as well,” said historian James Kimble.
